Steve and Victoria Gore Welcome You to Ramona
Ramona is known as the gateway into the mountains of San Diego’s North County Inland. It is the bridge between large towns and mountain villages, and is a census-designated place within San Diego County, about 30 miles northeast of San Diego. It lies off of the highway 78. Within driving distance lie not only these breathtaking mountains, but also miles of deserts and their wildflowers, the ocean, and downtown San Diego.
Ramona is a small town that features many commercial stores, restaurants, and quaint shops along Main Street. It is one of the oldest communities within San Diego and its history can be seen in its architecture and museums, such as the historic Guy B. Woodward Museum. It is the perfect place to hike, bike, picnic, or play at one of the four family parks in the community. It is also great to play golf at one of the courses in Ramona. World-famous wineries can be found in and around this town. A short 15-minute drive away is the San Diego Zoo Safari Park, a wild animal park that is one of the largest tourist attractions of San Diego County.
Ramona real estate and the families that live there are served by the acclaimed Ramona Unified School District.
